7 Method Steps
Place the white choc melts in a heatproof bowl set over a bowl of simmering water (don’t let the bowl touch the water). Use a metal spoon to stir until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
Meanwhile, trim two KitKat blocks to make the front and back walls with 10cm gables.
Spoon melts over sides of KitKat blocks to assemble the house on a 30cm board. Once walls are secure, spoon melts over edges of two more KitKat blocks to secure roof to walls.
Use a little of the melts to secure the musk sticks to the seams of the house, trimming to fit as necessary. Place the remaining melts in a piping bag fitted with a fine plain nozzle. Drizzle a little of the melts over the roof and decorate with mini speckled Easter eggs. Reserve 10 smarties. Drizzle a little of the melts over roof eaves and decorate with remaining smarties.
Cut 2 squares off the Milkybar. Cut in half lengthways to form 2 even pieces. Using the picture as a guide, secure pieces to the side of the house to form windows. Pipe a little of the melts between Milkybar pieces to form a window. Secure 3 reserved Smarties to bottom window eave. Secure one half of jelly snake to the top of bottom eave, trimming to fit as necessary. Secure 3 cut Lifesavers to top of top window eave. Repeat with 2 more squares of Milkybar, Smarties, snake and Lifesavers to form window on opposite side of the house.
Cut two pieces from the Milkybar to form two doors and secure to front and back of house. Using a little of the melts, secure 2 of the remaining Smarties to each door. Secure remaining Lifesavers and Smarties to the top of each door. Using the picture as a guide, secure Freckles to front, back and side walls to decorate.
Use a little of the melts to fill in the ears on the KitKat bunnies and decorate with sprinkles. Set aside to set. Place coconut in a large zip lock bag and add a few drops of green food colour. Shake bag until coconut is completely coloured. Use coconut, KitKat bunnies, marshmallow bunnies, speckled eggs and sugar flowers to decorate house as desired.
