10 Ingredients












  • 250g butternut snap biscuits, broken into pieces










  • 80g butter, melted










  • 3 tbsp custard powder










  • 100g (1/2 cup) caster sugar










  • 250ml (1 cup) milk










  • 300ml ctn thickened cream










  • 250g block cream cheese, softened










  • 150g milk chocolate










  • 1 tbsp canola oil










  • 4 x 53g Mars Bars, roughly chopped









  • Select all ingredients










5 Method Steps






  • Grease a 27cm x 17cm rectangle slice pan. Line with baking paper.





  • Place biscuits in food processor and process until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add butter and process until combined. Transfer to prepared pan. Use a flat-bottomed glass to press the mixture evenly over the base. Place in the fridge to chill for 30 minutes.





  • Combine custard powder, 55g (1/4 cup) caster sugar and 125ml (1/2 cup) milk in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir in remaining milk and 250ml (1 cup) cream. Cook, whisking continuously, until mixture comes to the boil. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Set aside to cool completely.

  • Place cream cheese and remaining sugar in a food processor and process until smooth. Add custard and process until combine. Pour over biscuit base. Place in the fridge to chill for 2 hours or until set.





  • Place the chocolate, oil, half the Mars Bars and remaining cream in a medium heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (make sure the bowl doesn’t touch the water). Use a metal spoon to stir occasionally until the chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Pour over custard. Scatter over remaining Mars Bars. Place in the fridge to chill for 1 hour or until set.
