  • 1/2 cup caster sugar










  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar










  • 1 egg










  • 2 tbsp Baileys Irish cream liqueur










  • 2 1/3 cups plain flour










  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda










  • 75g dark chocolate, roughly chopped










  • 1/3 cup milk choc chip










  • Vanilla ice-cream, to serve


  • Baileys Chocolate Sauce










  • 1/2 cup thickened cream










  • 100g dark chocolate, chopped










  • 2 tbsp Baileys Irish cream liqueur









  • Select all ingredients










3 Method Steps






  • Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan-forced. Grease a 22cm (base) round springform cake pan. Line base and sides with baking paper





  • Using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugars in a bowl until light and fluffy. Add egg and Baileys. Beat until combined. Sift flour and bicarbonate of soda over mixture. Beat until just combined. Stir in chocolate. Press into prepared pan, flattening surface. Bake for 35 minutes or until golden. Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
