  • 9 Salada original crackers










  • 300g butter, chopped










  • 300g (1 1/2 cups, firmly packed) brown sugar










  • 300g dark chocolate, melted










  • 100g white chocolate, melted










  • 40g (1/4 cup) pistachios, chopped

3 Method Steps






  • Line a 25cm x 37cm baking tray with baking paper. Completely cover the base of the tray with crackers.





  • Place the butter, sugar and a large pinch of salt in a medium saucepan. Place over medium heat. Cook, stirring constantly, for 3-4 minutes or until the sugar has dissolved. Increase heat to medium-high and boil for 3 minutes or until thickened slightly. Pour mixture over the crackers. Working quickly, use a pallet knife to spread evenly to cover. Set aside for 15 minutes or until cooled completely.





  • Pour the dark chocolate over the caramel, spreading evenly to cover. Drizzle with the white chocolate and scatter with pistachios. Set aside for a further 15 minutes or until chocolate is set. Break into pieces. Enjoy straight away or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
